MacDowell Month

February is known to all Alpha Chi's as MacDowell Month.  The month is named after the MacDowell Colony located in Peterborough, New Hampshire.  The colony was founded by Marian Nevins MacDowell (Zeta) and her husband, and is Alpha Chi Omega's first philanthropic project.  During the month of February the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega are encouraged to support the arts in any way possible.

VP Fraternal Relations, Paige Fagan, organized an opportunity to support the arts. Taking advantage of the availability of plays on campus, many Alpha Tau's went to go see the Vagina Monologues last night.  A group of sisters met at the house at 6 o'clock to eat dinner together, then walked over to the Memorial Union Building to enjoy to the play.
