Panhellenic Philanthropy: Family Feud

Last night, Alpha Chi Omega participated in Panhellenic's Philanthropy benefitting The Circle of Sisterhood.  We had two teams play family feud to benefit this great cause.  Unfortunately we lost, but we all had a lot of fun participating!

Alcohol Skills Training Program

The Alpha Tau chapter of Alpha Chi Omega was chosen by our national to take part in the Alcohol Skills Training Program.  Curtis Burrill From American University presented the program to our chapter.  Some of the topics covered were “My choices impact my sisters, so what choices do I have?” and  “Where is the dignity in what we are doing?”  The program taught us all how to be more responsible and lower the risk when we are drinking alcohol.  The whole chapter learned a lot and Mr. Burrill provided us with a lot of helpful information.

Big/ Little Reveal

Yesterday, Alpha Chi Omega headed to Wagon Hill for Big/Little Reveal.  The wagon is decorated with balloons with the new members names written on them.  The new members were then called up by family to find their balloon and pop it.  Inside the balloon was the name of their big.  It was a very exciting day and everyone was really happy to make their families even larger!

Lip Sync

Tonight, some of the new members and our president, Lauren Freeman, participated in SHARPP's annual Lip Sync competition.  Although we did not win, our new members did an amazing job and many sisters came to support them.  All the money from tickets was donated to UNH's Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention Program.  

Dinner with Alpha Sigma Phi

This weekend, the University of New Hampshire celebrated their homecoming.  The brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi asked us to pair of with them for homecoming events.  In preparation of all the homecoming events, we asked the brothers over for dinner.  It gave us all an opportunity to get to know the brothers even better.
