Bids Day Celebration

On Tuesday night, Alpha Chi Omega invited their new members back to our house to celebrate their bids.  Each new member was greeted by their carnation sister and then was brought down to the kitchen to enjoy snacks.  It gave everyone a chance to get to know each other more.  Sarah Trombley, VP Education, set up a great event that everyone really enjoyed.  Afterwards the new members had a meeting a received some fun gifts.

Bids Day

Monday Night was the end of a very long weekend.  We all went to Memorial Field where we watched our new members open their bids.  After all the excitement we took lots of pictures and gave the new members their tee shirts.  The celebration was quick, because the next day we had our Bids Day Celebration back at the house.

Fall 2011 Recruitment

This past weekend, the Alpha Tau chapter of Alpha Chi Omega took part in formal recruitment.  There was a record breaking amount of women going through recruitment, so each day was very busy.  The first day was called Ice Breaker Day, where we got to know all the girls.  The second day was all about Philanthropy and we showed a great video of all of our philanthropic efforts.  The last day of recruitment was preference night, which is always everyones favorite night.

Manhunt with Sigma Alpha Epsilon

Last night, the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega participated in man hunt with the brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.  Their house is right across the street from ours, so at 8:30 the two chapters met on the front lawn of SAE.  It was raining out,  but both chapters were still excited to play.  After playing a couple rounds, the event came to an end after one of the brothers was sprayed by a skunk.  The night was quite a success and gave the two chapters yet another opportunity to get to know one another even better.

University Day

Today, the University of New Hampshire had their annual University Day.  We were lucky enough to be able to volunteer at both a snow cone booth and a cotton candy booth.  We all wore our PACE shirts and encouraged people to go greek!  It was a long day, but we all had fun serving treats to the UNH community.
